Craig County Sheriff's Office had the opportunity to participate in the Walmart Heart Program
Craig County Sheriff's Office had the opportunity to participate in the Walmart Heart Program. Walmart heart is a charity program that lifts the spirits of children or adults with chronic medical conditions or special needs. Walmart drivers from distribution centers all over the U.S. hold fundraisers to provide the children or adults with a shopping spree. The children or adults that participate in this program become honorary drivers for Walmart. Pictures of the recipients are put on Semi trucks and trailers. The Honorary Drivers then take part in a parade of trucks. Sheriff Heath Winfrey, Deputy Ken Posey and Deputy Frank Nellen had the privilege to take part in this amazing program.
